January 31st QPR Training at Orion Township Public Library.
The North Oakland Community Coalition will be presenting a QPR training on January 31st at the Orion Township Public Library from 6-7:30pm.
QPR is an hour and a half long training focused on Suicide Prevention. We cover what to look for in your friends and family that may indicate that they need assistance or professional help, how to talk to them to encourage getting that help, and finally connecting them to the resources they need. The training spends time acknowledging that talking about these things can be difficult, and gives tips and help to make it easier.
